Lyxor Research and NYSE Liffe are delighted to invite you to the 4th Annual Hedge Fund Research Conference, which presents the latest research papers about Hedge Funds, from the most renowned academics. With close to a hundred submissions from 50 universities in 15 countries, the 19 unpublished papers which will be presented during the conference were selected following a thorough screening process by a committee of internationally respected research professors. EDHEC-Risk Alternative Investment Days 2011 - London - April 5th & 6th 2011

Organised by an academic research center for the benefit of professionals, EDHEC-Risk Institutional Days presents the research done by EDHEC-Risk Institute and discusses it with the institutional investor and fund manager communities.

The conference will address the allocation to alternative investments by institutional investors and present state-of-the-art approaches for optimal use of alternative investments and hedge funds in portfolio construction. Researchers will also examine various alternative asset classes including Private Equity and Commodities and bring new insights to risk diversification and inflation hedging.

3rd Annual Conference on Hedge Funds

'Market Intermediaries, Financial Markets, and the Real Economy'

This academic meeting will take place in Paris on January 27th and 28th, 2011. Academic sessions and a panel of practitioners will cover recent research, and will debate the future of the hedge fund industry. The commitee have selected papers that improve the understanding of the roles and behavioural of market intermediaries and how they affect, and respond to market prices.

Topics include: performance of hedge funds during the financial crisis, systemic risk, contagion, interactions between hedge funds activity and broad issues in economics, hedge fund activism, portfolio liquidation and liquidity, financial regulation, etc.

Lyxor - Introduction Conference in Israel - Tel Aviv, January 10th 2011

Lyxor is hosting its first financial conference in Israel.
